Judgment and Treatment of Common Faults of High Pressure Regulating Valve
1. Leakage
1.1 filler leaks
Uniformly tighten the packing gland bolts, if there is still media leakage, you should add or replace all the packing and check the stem surface for damage.
1.2 valve flange surface leakage
(1) Most of the conditions occur in the test run conditions, immediately evenly tighten the flange bolts
(2) there is still media leakage, immediately replace the flange gasket.
1.3 valve leakage
(1) manual operation of the actuator hand wheel, if the valve can be closed, indicating that the valve can not be tightly closed position, need to re-adjust the actuator limit switch.
(2) If the valve is still leaked, the valve sealing surface damage, should disassemble overhaul
2. The valve does not move
When the valve does not move the first check: stem and stem nut is also rotating, the indicator indicates the stroke is correct, the indicator on the clamping bolt is tightened. If you immediately tighten the clamping bolt, so that the stem can not turn, re-operate the valve does not move the following procedures to check:
2.1 Check the actuator
(1) If you manually operate the actuator handwheel, you can move the stem, you should check the actuator.
(2) manual operation of the actuator hand wheel, stem can not move, the valve or actuator failure, remove the actuator, respectively, check the valve and the actuator.
(3) Turn the removed actuator handwheel, if the output shaft of the actuator can be rotated, indicating that the valve has a problem, check the valve immediately; if the output shaft of the actuator does not rotate, the motor or gear box has a problem, Box to remove the motor were to be checked.
2.2 Check the valve
(1) with a wrench to rotate the stem, stem can not move up and down. Need to disassemble the valve check:
A. Seat and valve flap Severely: Use the appropriate solvent to clean the valve seat and disc, the valve seat and the valve for finishing, grinding the sealing line to the egg line or replace the valve seat spool.
B. Stem with the sliding surface of the bite: the stem and the mouth surface of the finishing process to the surface smooth no obvious pull marks or replace the stem.
C. Check the stem, if the stem deformation should be replaced.
(2) with a wrench to turn the stem, the valve is not strict. There are debris embedded in the valve seat and between the valve core, open the valve clean up debris, repair sealing surface.
